The Scholastic Book Fair will be set up in the FMS Library next week. Students will visit the book fair with their ELA classes.
Students may also shop before school, after school and during WIN (with permission from WIN teacher). Proceeds from the book fair will fund library programs and will be used to purchase new books for the FMS Library.
Author, Dan Gemeinhart, will visit students at Falmouth Middle School during an assembly on Wednesday, Sept. 26th. Special thanks to the FMS PTO for helping to sponsor Dan's visit.
Dan is from Washington state and is the author of Scar Island (a Maine Student Book Award nominee), The Honest Truth,Good Dog, and Some Kind of Courage.

Sixth and seventh grade students had the opportunity to hear author, Jennifer Nielsen speak at FMS on May 10th. Jennifer spoke about how she was inspired to write the historical fiction novel, A Night Divided. Students and staff were intrigued by Jennifer's storytelling based on research she had conducted about the Berlin Wall and the Cold War.
